The store that started it all. Visit our original boutique in Overland Park, located in the Prariefire Shopping Mall just south of Deer Creek. This Made in KC boutique began with a vision of bringing the creativity of Kansas City to the greater metropolitan area. What started with a handful of artists and makers from Kansas City local businesses has now blossomed into a celebration of everything that makes KC great. Browse our growing selection of Kansas City BBQ sauces, household goods, beverages, hats, and accessories after a round of golf at Lionsgate or visit to the Prariefire Museum.

Our Prairiefire location of Made in KC is located at the corner of W 135th St and Nall Ave, not far off US-69.

Made in KC Neighborhood Shop + The Black Pantry | Martini Corner / Midtown

We’ve made Midtown our home! Situated in Martini Corner, the new Made in KC headquarters is a gathering place for the best local coffee, home goods, and apparel brands from Kansas City. This open-concept storefront features a curated collection of local products that show off the creativity of KC.

At this location, we also feature an entirely unique and historic collaboration, The Black Pantry is Kansas City's first shop dedicated to sourcing the highest-quality products from Black owned brands across the country. Owned by Brian Roberts, The Black Pantry launched as a pop-up shop bringing Black-owned products to neighborhoods throughout Kansas City. Now, through a partnership with Made in KC, The Black Pantry is one of our nation's few brick-and-mortar shops dedicated to Black owned goods. The Black Pantry adjoins our Midtown Neighborhood Shop and features packaged food, wellness products, home goods, and local artwork.

From the onset, Made in KC's mission has been "Cultivating Creativity." Our partnership with The Black Pantry is a big step towards making sure our work to Cultivate Creativity in KC is both inclusive and equitable.

The Made in KC Neighborhood Shop and The Black Pantry in Martini Corner is located close to the Tower East and Union Hill neighborhoods.

Made in KC Café + Bar | Downtown

Happy hour, anyone? Whether you’re jonesing for your morning coffee or grabbing an expertly crafted cocktail after a long day, our downtown location is a favorite with the locals. Enjoy artisanal pastries alongside your coffee or tea from Kansas City brands or start your evening off locally made wine or beer.
