New for 2023! This limited release in the iconic Spot Whiskey series from Mitchell & Son in Ireland has been created in conjunction with the renowned Quails' Gate Winery.
A single pot still Irish Whiskey which has been matured initially in American Bourbon and Sherry casks before being finished in casks previously filled with Quails' Gate Pinot Noir.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Oak, ripe cherry, fresh raspberry, apple, sweet pear, woodland spices, sweet vanilla, and red wine.
Taste: A silky and sweet mouth-coating texture with notes of dried cranberries, red apple, clove spice, grated nutmeg, succulent fruits, seasoned oak, and crisp barley
Finish: Toasted wood and pot still spices gently fading and the fruits and red wine seasoning taking the final blow.
